About IECE 2026

The International Entrepreneurship & Creative Engineering Hackathon brings together students and professionals to build solutions to real-world challenges over an intensive innovation sprint.

Participants form teams, choose a track, and are guided by expert mentors from idea to prototype.

Challenge Topics

Topics

Within each track you may tackle one of several curated challenge topics, or propose your own aligned idea for committee approval.

Timeline

Registration opens — form your team early.
Kickoff & team formation — meet mentors and lock your track.
Build sprint — develop your prototype.
Submission deadline — submit your final project.
Judging & finals — finalists present to the jury.

Prizes

Winning teams share a substantial prize pool, along with mentorship, incubation opportunities, and recognition at the closing ceremony.

Rules

All work must be original and produced during the event. Teams must respect the code of conduct and submission requirements.

Teams range in size per the published limits.
Open-source libraries are permitted with attribution.
Judging follows the published rubric.
